But what are the different types of gate opener available to do this job?
If you have gates that swing open and closed, there are a few different types of these gate openers. These include rams and linear screw gate motors, articulated arm gate openers and underground gate operators. Less common but as discrete as undergrounds are in-post gate motors.
If you are looking at a sliding gate, there is only one type of gate opener.
