How To Take Your Photos
If you’re looking for gate repairs, gate servicing or the replacement or updating of existing gates, we need a few photos. These will allow us to see your gates from various positions.
This way we can quote for any work required more accurately. We can also give you a price faster than if we have to book a visit.
Also, if we need to visit your property to give you a quote, we would have to charge a call-out fee, so this will also save you money.
You’re not agreeing to anything by completing this form for a no-commitment free quote.
The following are good examples of the minimum we need. If you can take your photos so that they are sharp and clearly show details, this is very helpful.
Full Gate From The Outside
Your first image should show the full width and height of the closed gate or gates from outside the property.
It should be as close to straight on as possible without the you having to stand in the road.
Full Gate From Inside
This shows the full width and heights of the inside of your closed gate or gates. It is as close to straight on as possible.
If you have a sliding gate, please try and include the full extent of the track the gate slide opens onto in this photo.
Gate Motor 1 Close Up
This should be a clear image of your sliding gate motor if you have a sliding gate.
If you have a pair of swing gates this should clearly show one of the motors. If you have underground swing gate motors, this can be the cover of the motor and the arm connecting it to the gate.
Gate Motor 2 (if required)
This is your second motor if you have a pair of swing gates. If these are underground motors, an image of the motor cover and the arm attached to the gate is fine.
If you have a sliding gate with only one motor or anything else you want to show us, please feel free to upload more photos.
